Choose the weight with the format.

GSM means grams per square metre. It measures weight per area; it is not a quality score or a guaranteed thickness.

For a brochure, choose the inside pages and cover separately. Coating, bulk, grain direction, fold and binding change how the finished piece handles.

Specify stock name, GSM and coating. For books, give cover and inside weights separately; GSM does not uniquely determine thickness.

Colour & sides

Choose single or double-sided print, colour or black only, and identify any exact brand-colour requirement.

Finishing & proof

Confirm fold, binding, trim, lamination or specialist masks. Review page order, spelling and a proof before production.

Quantity, final specifications, sample/proof approval, delivery location and required date are agreed together. Ask for alternatives where a stock or process is undecided.
