Material & artwork details

For logos and individual names on suitable metal pens. The laser removes or changes the coating or surface; it does not add coloured ink.

Pen material: Coated or anodised metal; suitable wood or bamboo after a sample test.
The look: A metallic or tonal mark. The pen material determines the result, so engraving cannot reproduce a full-colour logo.
Artwork to send: A vector logo, plus a checked name list for personalisation.

Screen printing

Bold logos. Solid brand colours.

Material & artwork details

A good starting point for a simple logo repeated across a batch. Ink is transferred through a screen; each spot colour needs its own setup.

Pen material: Compatible plastic or metal barrels, with the ink matched to the surface.
The look: Flat, solid colour. Barrel shape and the selected process determine how far the design can wrap around the pen.
Artwork to send: Vector artwork with separate spot colours and a Pantone reference where required.

UV printing

Colour, gradients and fine detail.

Material & artwork details

Direct digital printing for multicolour artwork on a compatible pen. UV light cures the ink on the surface.

Pen material: Suitable plastic or coated metal; adhesion and the usable surface are checked on the selected model.
The look: A coloured printed design. White ink can support colour on darker barrels where the selected setup allows it.
Artwork to send: Vector artwork or a high-resolution image at final size. Very small text and colour matching need proof approval.

What files should I send?

Send a vector logo and the preferred position relative to the clip. For screen printing, include spot colours or a Pantone reference. For UV printing, supply vector artwork or a high-resolution image at final size. For laser engraving, provide a single-colour vector mark and a checked name list if personalising each pen. Approve the actual model’s branding template before production.

Should I choose laser engraving, screen printing or UV printing?

Choose laser engraving for a tonal name or logo on a suitable metal pen, screen printing for bold spot-colour branding, and UV printing for multicolour artwork or gradients. The actual pen surface and artwork decide the final method.

Can every pen have the same logo size?

No. Barrel diameter, taper, clip position and the available print or engraving area differ by model. Choose the pen first; we then confirm the artwork width and height in millimetres and its position relative to the clip.

Can each pen have a different name?

Include your checked name list, quantity per name and preferred pen colour in the brief. Laser engraving and suitable digital printing workflows can support variable names; the method and setup are confirmed for the selected pen.

Can I choose ink colour and presentation packaging?

Specify blue or black writing ink, your preferred refill type, click or twist action, and whether you need individual sleeves, gift boxes or a coordinated set. Available combinations depend on the selected pen model.
